HONOLULU (KHON2) — The 2024 Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant was held Thursday evening at the Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra, where nine young women fought for the coveted title of the island’s teen.
Girls from across the islands came together in the name of sisterhood and community to showcase themselves and advocate for the things they believe in.
After several months of hard work and vigorous training, the girls took to the stage over two days, competing in fitness wear and evening gowns on the runway, and going through interviews behind the scenes and even on stage.
When it came down to announce the final 5 girls, another on-stage question was asked to each girl to showcase the contestants poise and knowledge.
At the end of the night it was Maui’s Hokuaokaʻale Gilman who walked away with the crown and title of the new Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2024.
Other special awards were given to contests such as, Congeniality, Fitness, Photogenic and more.
Gilman will move onto the national competition in Hollywood, California, where she will compete for the Miss Teen USA 2024 crown.
