The largest telecommunications conference in the Baltic States Telco Trends will take place in Jurmala, in August

Already after a month in Jurmala, will take place Telco Trends - the largest international telecommunications conference and exhibition in the Baltic States, which will bring together representatives of leading enterprises of electronic communications from more than 30 countries of the world, informs BC Natalya Vasilyeva, Telco Trends PR Director.

About 400 experts from the EU and CIS countries will meet in the Baltic Beach Hotel in order to discuss the most topical problems of the industry. Leading EU experts will talk about the implementation of the strategy “Single EU Digital Market”, new legislative initiatives and reforms of Brussels, which are expected in the telecommunications sector. Such actual topics, as the impact of information wars on business operators and the fight against pirated content will be raised.

Authoritative experts in the field of electronic payments will tell the participants about the evolution of payment systems: how to safely comfortably and efficiently resolve issues related to financial transactions. But representatives of the leading suppliers of telecommunication equipment and solutions will talk about the technical innovations that help to improve the quality of services: the experts of ASTRO Strobel, SES, BKTEL will speak before the participants.

Traditionally, there will be much analytics, illuminating industry trends by J' son & Partners Consulting, TNS, KPMG.

And of course, Telco Trends is attended by experts from the regulatory authorities - the people who determine policy in the telecommunications sector. The conference participants will be able to meet and talk with the Deputy Director for Information Technologies of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Edmunds Belskis, the Chairman of the Radio and Television Commission of Lithuania Edmundas Vaitekunas, the representative of the Norwegian Council of Communication and Telecommunications Enger Hans Jorgen, the Head of the Latvian Public Utilities Commission.

Partners of Telco Trends are the industry associations of the EU and CIS countries. The event was supported by the Polish Chamber for Electronic Communication (PIKE), the Telecommunications Association of Latvia, the Lithuanian Cable Television Association, the Latvian Association of Broadcasters, ICT Cluster Bulgaria, Macedonian ICT Chamber of Commerce (MASIT), Cable TV Union of Georgia, the Association of Cable Operators of Azerbaijan, Telecommunications Chamber of Ukraine, Association “Ukrteleset” and others. The leaders of these organizations will take part in Telco Trends and help to establish useful contacts to companies planning to find partners in their region.

This year's forum is widely represented by the banking sector. Among the speakers, partners and participants is the Association “Electronic Money”, the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks, QIWI, Swedbank.

The conference and exhibition will be widely covered by the media. The partners of Telco Trends are reputable telecommunications publications - ComNews, Cableman”, “Telesputnik”, Mediasat, ICT-Online.ru. The radio Baltkom will tell about the forum on the air. A general media partner of the conference is the “Digital TV” Channel One.

After a busy working day the guests will have relaxing vacation on the beach. On the first day of the forum in the restaurant “36.Line” will take place a party from the general partner Telco Trends - SES. The next evening, you can have fun on the beach tournament for the Cup of “TELCO TRENDS 2016” and then make up for calories burnt during a barbecue party from the television company “STREAM”. The conference will end by the issuance of certificates to partners and a farewell banquet.
