Press Release INTRASOFT International and Israeli Kando join forces to deliver innovative IoT wastewater management solution in Greek utility firm EYDAP Luxembourg and Tel Aviv, Israel, 28 September 2017 - INTRASOFT International, a global ICT company together with Israel-based IoT company Kando have joined forces to provide Greek utility firm EYDAP (Athens Water Supply and Sewage Company) with solutions for the reduction of wastewater pollution by industrial sources.

Kando, which develops Smart Wastewater Network Management Solutions, will collaborate with INTRASOFT International to carry out the project at EYDAP's wastewater network in Athens, Greece, commencing in October 2017. This signals the start of a broader collaboration between Kando and INTRASOFT.

The Greek Deputy Minister of Environment Mr. Sokratis Famellos hailed the cooperation of the three companies by noting that: "This is a very important initiative in the area of Internet of Things between Greece and Israel, leveraging innovative technology for protecting the environment and decreasing the pollution impact. Furthermore, it is going to be implemented in one of the key utility networks in Greece".

Mr. Eli Cohen, Israeli Minister of Economy, congratulated the three partners for their initiative as a perfect opportunity for applying the best combined expertise of Greece and Israel.

The Chairman of EYDAP Mr. Konstantinos Papadopoulos said: "As the biggest utility firm in Europe, serving almost 5 million customers, this agreement is part of our major strategic direction of EYDAP to digitize our systems and is taken in collaboration with Kando, a good example of Israeli cutting edge technology and INTRASOFT International a trusted regional IT solution provider."
