Employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting firm RS&H has announced that Kirk Fauri will succeed Doug Geiger in the role of executive vice president and construction management national operations leader in Jacksonville, Fla., when Geiger retires in October. Geiger, who joined RS&H in 1984 to oversee construction, engineering and inspection projects throughout Florida, has managed numerous transportation projects nationwide and played a pivotal role in industry organizations during his tenure at RS&H. Fauri started with RS&H in Jacksonville before moving in 2012 to Texas, where he has led the growth of the construction management team. Geiger has been influential in the direction of the transportation industry, supporting development of a new strategy on post-tension structures for the Florida Dept. of Transportation and the American Segmental Bridge Institute. He’s a past recipient of the Ben Watts Partnership Award, which honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the ongoing effective partnership between FDOT and the consulting community.

David Williams has joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Raleigh office as senior electrical engineer. He will work with Hanson’s team of electrical professionals to design electrical systems and navigational aids for aviation clients. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical, lighting, navigational aids and telecommunication systems at airports that range from general aviation facilities to those for international commercial air carriers.

Sandra Bucklew has joined HNTB as vice president, group director and practice builder for the firm’s construction services group in Lake Mary, Fla. Bucklew will focus on growing the firm’s construction services practice throughout Florida. She has worked on several major transportation projects in the region, including the $24-million SR 100 Railroad Overpass Project in Bradford County, Fla., and a $25-million capacity improvement project along US 319 in Wakulla County, Fla. She previously worked for the Florida Dept. of Transportation.

Ashleigh DuBois has joined Skanska as community outreach manager supporting the firm’s building operations in Tennessee as well as Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. She is based in Indianapolis. DuBois will work with Skanska’s teams to build a program that establishes an inclusive subcontractor base that recognizes, supports and connects with communities in which the firm works and that collaborates with clients, suppliers and community partners.

ANF Group has promoted Luis Senra to chief operations officer. With 21 years of experience at ANF, Senra moves from his role as vice president of preconstruction to oversee the company’s operations functions, including overseeing planning and execution of construction projects from initiation to completion as well as ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of projects, maintaining quality standards and managing the allocation and utilization of resources, personnel, equipment and materials and maximizing efficiency and productivity.

The firm has also promoted Anni Maresca to chief financial officer. With more than 25 years of experience in construction accounting, she started at ANF in 1997 and has worked as ANF’s controller, responsible for every aspect of operations accounting and corporate finance. She’ll join the executive leadership team to assist with financial decision-making, managing financial risks and exploring growth opportunities.

David González was promoted to chief legal officer for ANF, solidifying his integral role within the executive team to oversee legal and risk management functions of the firm. He’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing ANF’s legal strategy and leading the legal team.

Memphis-based PPE manufacturer Radians has hired Cal Bontemps as its new director of marketing. Bontemps, with 24 years of experience, including 18 at medical device maker Medtronic, will oversee and execute the company’s marketing and customer engagement strategy. His primary focus will be to enhance brand visibility and deliver solutions for distributors and stakeholders.

Gilbane Building Co. has promoted Jeff Lewis to business leader for the firm’s Raleigh office. With more than 26 years in the industry, including almost 20 with Gilbane, he previously led projects in diverse market sectors across various geographies, including special projects to mission-critical and health care projects.

Barge Design Solutions has named Erika Booker its new chief marketing officer, based in Nashville, promoting her from the role of senior vice president. Booker has worked as director of marketing and communications for the firm since 2022 and has more than two decades of experience with a deep understanding of the company’s brand identity.

The firm has also hired Robert Moses as roadway practice leader, based in its Atlanta office. Bringing more than 30 years of experience at the state level, his successful track record includes transformative projects like the Northwest Corridor Express Lanes and aligns with Barge’s commitment to excellence in Georgia and the Southeast.

Gordian has appointed Jonathan Miller to the position of vice president of human resources. With more than 15 years’ experience, he will spearhead Gordian’s human resources strategy with a focus on nurturing a dynamic talent ecosystem and fostering a culture that supports business growth and employee enrichment.

Balfour Beatty has promoted Roger Schwerin and George Uschold to vice presidents of operations in Georgia, based in Atlanta and Savannah, respectively. Schwerin joined the company in 2012, bringing an extensive background of superintendent experience. In the new role, he provides executive leadership over Balfour Beatty’s commercial sector in Atlanta, including the company’s special projects operations.

At Balfour Beatty since 2002, Uschold brings more than 35 years of experience to his role providing executive leadership support in Savannah while also leading the company’s multifamily sector across the low country and military housing market sector.

The firm also promoted Amy Kennedy to vice president in Central Florida and Jonathan Pearch to vice president in South Florida, while Janice Lowery has been promoted to vice president, controller, responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of the firm’s Florida business operations. Vince Hull has been promoted to president in South Florida. With more than 25 years of experience, Kennedy started her career with Balfour Beatty and has managed many of the company’s most prolific and sensitive projects. Hull brings 35 years of experience to his new role, having delivered a wide array of projects across multiple market sectors. Pearch also started his career with the firm, holding various operational roles for more than 15 years. His experience includes leading teams through project deliveries within the higher education, sports, municipal, hospitality and entertainment sectors. Lowery, working in several construction disciplines, brings industry knowledge and experience as a consistent go-to partner across the company’s Florida operations.
