VBSpam report: SEPPmail.cloud filter awarded for performance

99.99% spam detection rate

MUNICH, GERMANY , October 24, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Virus Bulletin, an IT trade publication on computer viruses and other malware, has published the results of the third quarter 2023 VBSpam test. This test evaluates the performance of various email security solutions against a variety of wanted, unwanted and malicious emails. The SEPPmail.cloud filter was also put to the test.

The independent VBSpam test checks the email security solutions of providers who have signed up for this test on a quarterly basis. What is the percentage of false positives and how good is the spam detection rate of the solutions? In the Q3 2023 test, the security solutions successfully blocked the majority of spam samples. Most of the tested solutions achieved high overall spam sample capture rates and also in the malware category, with values above 99%.

Particularly noteworthy is the performance of the SEPPmail.cloud filter, which missed only one phishing sample. This gives SEPPmail its best performance to date in the VBSpam test. With no false positives and a spam capture rate of 99.995%, the SEPPmail.cloud filter is awarded VBSpam+ certification.
